The At Home With Diversity program was launched by the National Association of REALTORS® and has trained more than twenty thousand REALTORS®. Its curriculum covers fair housing law, cultural awareness, and the practical business habits that make diverse buyers feel welcome and well served, not merely tolerated.
What the certification means
Earning AHWD requires completing NAR's course work and remaining an active member in good standing. The training is about more than knowing the law: it is about how an agent listens, communicates, and structures service so that a buyer's culture, language, and circumstances never become a barrier to homeownership.
