The story
From law school plans to a ministry of real estate.
My journey into real estate began long before I ever imagined it would become my career. While I was in college, my goal was law school and a career as an attorney specializing in commercial real estate development. I earned my real estate license during that time, believing the experience would support the legal path I had planned. Life happened, I did not go to law school, and that license sat unused for years.
During that season I became deeply involved in the outreach ministry at my church. Serving others gave me a sense of purpose I could not ignore. When a new management job took away the time and flexibility for ministry, something important was missing.
One day I sat down with a legal pad and spent time in prayer, asking to separate the passions placed within me from the ambitions I had created for myself. I was reminded that I still held a real estate license. I called the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and learned I had one day to place that license with a real estate company, or I would have to retake the entire course. Timing like that is nothing but grace.
What I once saw as preparation for law school became the doorway to the work I was meant to do. Real estate let me combine my interest in property and development with a heart for service, advocacy, and community. It gave me another way to minister: listen to people's concerns, protect their interests, guide them through hard decisions, and help them move forward with confidence.
More than 10 years later, I serve buyers, sellers, investors, and commercial clients throughout Peoria and Central Illinois. Every decision carries a personal story, a financial impact, and a vision for the future, and I never forget that.

Faith is the foundation this business was built on, and it still guides how I work. It began with a legal pad and a prayer, and that foundation still shapes every client relationship. I start hard conversations with prayer before I start them with words. I stay steady when a deal hits a rough patch, patient enough to trust the right outcome instead of forcing one. And I show up for every client with the same honesty I'd bring to my family, whether we've worked together for three weeks or three years.
